Who we are
Chicago Innerview previews the premier concerts coming to the Windy City each month through insightful articles and interviews with the hottest bands slated to play at local venues. Our specialty is well-written, entertaining and in-depth pieces that showcase our commitment to top-quality content, delivered with genuine human interest and humor.

Staffed with over a dozen experienced, high-caliber and professional music journalists, a pair of graphic designers, two Web developers and team of friendly sales associates, we come fully-equipped ready to rock and roll. Founded in 2003, the magazine has continued its rapid expansion by boosting circulation and distribution due to increased audience demand while hosting an increasing number of regular local and national events.

What we do
Chicago Innerview targets a monthly surveyed readership of 47,000 people by circulating 20,000 print copies per month at 300 distribution outlets in the city and a few near suburbs. We can be found throughout Chicago, but are specifically targeting the neighborhoods of Bucktown/Wicker Park, Lincoln Park/Lake View, Rogers Park/Uptown, UIC/South Loop and West Loop/Downtown.

Our monthly magazine features approximately between 30 and 40 band interviews and previews per issue, as well as occasional concert or album reviews, news reports, investigative and general music features, a comprehensive live music venue listing, and a complete day-to-day concert calendar.

Where we are
Chicago Innerview can be found in the top venues, entertainment centers, record stores, coffeehouses, universities, bookstores and shops frequented by our young adult audience. A complete list of our distribution outlets is available at www.chicagoinnnerview.com/where_to_find.htm.

We circulate through stacking, through sponsorship booths at local music events as well as through direct distribution at shows. Each month our street team heads out to the biggest concerts and events in order to hand out magazines directly to attendees, placing the magazine and your ad directly into the hands of the fans — a highly effective direct marketing technique not available through any other publication. Chicago Innerview also circulates the publication through its trademark black Chicago Innerview newspaper bins placed at train stops and other key high-traffic areas of the city.

We are also worldwide, clocking in between 400,000 and 500,000 hits to our Web site every month, with an exponentially increasing number of unique users flocking to the site each week by the hundreds. We also boast a monthly newsletter with more than 2,000 subscribers — targeted to serious music fans and high-level industry professionals nationwide. They come to us because the quality of our content is simply unmatched by any music publication, whether on a local or on a national basis.
